The Vegas valley has 2.3 million people and somewhere around 50,000 youth, high school, and adult ballplayers across every league and travel circuit. For most of the year, finding a place to take real swings is hard. Outdoor fields close. The summer hits 110°. Coaches lose tryout windows to dust storms.
