The Las Vegas valley has 2.3 million people and roughly 50,000 active baseball and softball players across youth leagues, travel ball, high school programs, fastpitch, and adult rec. For five months of the year, outdoor training works. The other seven? It’s 110° in the shade, 35° windy mornings in winter, or dust storms canceling field reservations.
