Powerhouse welcomes complete beginners — kids who’ve never held a bat, parents who decide to coach Little League and need to learn first, adults trying baseball for the first time after a softball-only background. Our coaches are patient, our machines start at slow soft-toss speeds, and the cage environment is low-pressure compared to a public field.
First-time visitors get an orientation: how the cages work, what equipment you need, what the rates cover. Coaches who specialize in beginners will start with stance, grip, and basic swing fundamentals before any machine pitching. The goal is for first-time hitters to leave their first session having made solid contact and feeling like they want to come back.
