When kids are ready for cage time, lessons, machines, and HitTrax. A quick guide.
Ages 4–6: Tee work and soft toss with a parent. No machine pitching yet — focus on contact, not speed.
Ages 6–8: Slow machine pitching (25–35 mph) under parent or coach supervision. Lessons available with patient beginner coaches.
Ages 8–10: Faster machine pitching (40–55 mph). Independent cage time with parent in the building. HitTrax becomes engaging at this age.
Ages 10–12: Game-realistic machine speeds (55–65 mph). Travel ball cage rentals start here. Lessons get more technical.
Ages 13+: Full speeds (65+ mph). HS-level lessons, recruit-prep work, full HitTrax data tape capture.
Front desk will set up the right machine for your player’s age and skill.
