From Mechanics to Mound Presence
Powerhouse pitching lessons start with mechanics: lower-half engagement, hip-shoulder separation, arm path, release point, and finish. We film, slow it down, and rebuild what needs rebuilding.
From there, every session moves into command work — locating fastballs to all four quadrants, then mixing off-speed: changeups, curves, sliders. We use our 70-foot indoor lanes (regulation distance) so every rep transfers directly to the game.
What We Work On
- Mechanics — lower half, separation, arm path, release, finish
- Command — fastball location to all four quadrants
- Off-speed — changeup, curveball, slider, splitter
- Bullpen routine — warm-up, pen flow, between-innings reset
- Mound presence — tempo, body language, breath work
- Velocity — long-toss programming, weighted-ball protocols (with caution)
Live At-Bats
Once mechanics are stable, we run live at-bat sessions — pair you with a Powerhouse hitter, set up HitTrax, and turn the bullpen into a live game-rep.
