Why We Require a Waiver

Powerhouse Batting Cages requires every batter, player, and participant to sign a liability waiver before using our facility. Like every batting cage, training facility, and sports venue, we have a duty to make sure everyone using our equipment understands the inherent risks of swinging bats, fielding balls, and using pitching machines — and acknowledges those risks before participating.

The waiver is short, takes about 60 seconds to sign, and is good for the whole calendar year. Sign it once and you’re covered for every cage rental, lesson, party, and HitTrax session through December 31. The full verbatim text appears below for review before you sign.

For Parents & Guardians

If your player is under 18, you must sign the waiver as their legal parent or guardian. The Jotform below has conditional logic — when you enter your player’s date of birth, if they’re under 18 the form will prompt you to add the guardian information. Both the player’s information and the guardian information are required.

What’s Covered

The waiver covers all activities at Powerhouse: cage rentals, machine pitching, HitTrax sessions, lessons, team practices, infield rentals, birthday parties, and any other use of our facility or equipment. It does NOT waive your right to recover for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or violations of Nevada consumer protection law.
